Vinyl

Waterproof planks that click together. The wet area pick.

What it is

Vinyl comes as planks or as one wide sheet. Planks click together and float over your floor. That is what we lay in most homes. Sheet vinyl is one wide roll glued down, with few or no joins.

Best rooms

Laundries, wet areas, bedrooms and living rooms. We lay vinyl as planks in most homes. They click together, they go down faster, and they match the floor in the rest of the house. Sheet vinyl is there if you want the fewest joins.

Worth knowing

Vinyl is thinner than hybrid and has no rigid core. Bumps in the floor underneath can show through over time, so prep matters more.

  • Fully waterproof
  • Planks click together, so there is no wet glue
  • Sits low, which helps under doors
  • Loose lay pieces can be lifted and swapped
