What it is
Laminate has a timber look layer on top of a hard wood fibre board. It looks a lot like real timber and costs less. It clicks together and floats over your floor.

Dry living areas, bedrooms and hallways.
Worth knowing
The core is wood fibre, and wood fibre soaks up water. A spill wiped up fast is fine. Water that sits will swell it. It is not a bathroom or laundry floor.
